Problem:
The F. H. Lawson Company of Cincinatti, Ohio, USA, manually transported ash can cover blanks to a forming machine and then to edge-forming lathes. They wanted to reduce manual handling and occasional lacerations incurred by the workers.
Solution:
After consulting Eriez' technical staff about new equipment, blanks and covers were dropped onto conveyor belts backed by Eriez
Magna-Rails® . The parts were carried safely and swiftly up 60-degree inclines until dropped into waiting carts.
